I have just bought Xerox Workcentre 6515, not able to scan

Hi I have just bought Xerox Workcentre 6515, not able to scan to PC folder
JA: Is there an error code on your WorkCentre when you try to scan?
Customer: error: (018-755) : Server connection error in smb
JA: When did you last update the printer driver software?
Customer: not done, how i do do this?
JA: The Printer Technician will be able to walk you through that. Anything else you want the Printer Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: help start scanning to pc folder. what are the charges?

Please click on the below link and follow the instructions to get this fixed:-

  • Check the destination Computer/Server.
  • Check the router that the Computer/Server and the multifunction device are connected to make sure there is communication.
  • Check anti-virus software, and firewall software to see if it may be blocking scans.
  • Log in to the destination Computer/Server with a different login with administrator rights and check whether a folder can be written to by copying a file into that folder. If it works with a different login, then something has happened to that account.
