I have a new Cannon MG2550 and the drivers won't install on my PC, either from the disc or from the web.
JA: What's the brand, model, and Operating System (OS) of your computer?
Customer: It is a computer built by my local shop with the details cloned from my old pc and runs windows 10 Pro. The case ic Lenovo.
JA: What have you tried so far with your computer?
Customer: It does everything that the old one did, just 100 times faster and the old printer runs well. the new printer is for my daughter and I'm trying to test it.
JA: Anything else you want the Computer Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: It's just the driver that won't install and my daughter is having the same problem with two laptops. It installed ok on my laptop from the disc.

Which version of Windows is installed on your computer? (Windows 10, 8 ,7)

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
Windows 10

What have you done so far to troubleshoot the problem?
Please share them with me so we don't repeat them

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
Nothing

Okay, please click this link and watch the video on how to install your printer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHEUAbNbKZc

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
I've been through that and downloaded the files both via the disc and the net but the driver(s) just will not install.
Customer: replied 8 months ago.
Will I need the printer to do this? My daughter has the printer at the moment but the link you sent looks like the one we used.

Yes, you need the printer and watch the video

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
I have watched the video and it doesn't help. I'll get my daughter to use the link. Is it different to the standard Canon download link.

Okay, please try again to install

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
I don't have the printer at the moment. Can I install without it.
Customer: replied 8 months ago.
The second link is one that we have used with no joy.
Customer: replied 8 months ago.
A new version of 'driver update' is already installed.

Okay, if you have the printer install the driver

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
Nothing has changed. It will not install. There are no error messages.

Fixing Broken Installations

To fix this error, press "Windows-X" and click "Device Manager" to open Device Manager first. Look for any items marked with a question mark, labelled "Unknown Device." Right-click this entry and pick "Uninstall." Afterwards, unplug the printer and install the drivers before reattaching it.

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
There are no question marks or unknown devices.

What I could suggest you do is, to download all in one Snappy driver and try to update all the driver on your computer

To do this.

visit this link https://www.utorrent.com/downloads/win

once there click Download Utorrent and install it on your computer

Once done. Download Snappy Driver please click here https://sdi-tool.org/

Then click Download

Download SDI FULL

Then open SDI_UPDATE TORRENT to download the software

Once download completed

open SDI_UPDATE

THEN double click SDI_R2009 APPLICATION

On you open the application

Click select all

Then click Install
