What's Big Slur?

The version of Mac OS. From the Apple menu in the corner of your screen, choose About This Mac. You should see the macOS name, such as macOS Big Sur.

What does it say?

If you open "Windows Fax and Scan" and press scan, does it work?

Somtimes you need to start the scan from the comptuer rather than the scanner, I think this is what is going on here.
