The best and fastest thing to try in this case is clearing the printer memory. No settings will be reset at this point, and it usually helps with most issues.
Carefully, remove the power cable from the printer so the printer is disconnected from power. Then press and hold the power button or clear/cancel button on the printer for 30 seconds.
Connect the power back up and turn it on as normal. Please check to see If this clears it.
