commercial property contract help

Customer Question

Hi, I'm looking for some help with a commercial property contract. Basically I have built and now operate a bar inside a community centre (like a concession I guess). Before I grow the business I want to ensure I have rights of renewal (like a lease). I have been offered a formal contract but the centre manager has basically just butchered a venue hire agreement. I have started making amendments but need some help. Whats the most important phrasing to ensure that I protect my business and have rights of renewal (and also assignment)?

I would like to provide both the original contract offered by the centre and my amended contract (containing amendments made by myself). These are word docs which I dont' appear to be able to upload so can perhaps send via email.

Hello. I'm afraid we can't offer a drafting or document approval service via Just Answer. I can suggest certain elements the document should contain, and provide some guidance on security of tenure, if that's of any help?
