Customer Question

I have lived at my present address for the past 21 years. A new owner has bought the house next to me and claims the communial driveway and car parking spaces are owned by her as she has her land registry map that shows it to be. This is obviously misdrawn as what she says she owns cuts our communial drive in half. Can you own communial roads and parking spaces.

Hi there,

Thanks for your enquiry.

What is your understanding of the situation? Do you think you own a specific parking space?

Is she saying that you are not permitted to use any of the parking spaces, and what is saying about usage of the communal access?
