Alex Watts : Hello my name is Alex and I will help you with this. Please note that I am a working Solicitor and may be on and offline as I have to attend Court and meet with clients, even at weekends. As such you may not get an instant response when you reply, but rest assured I will be giving your question my immediate attention upon return You do not need to wait here as you will get an email when I reply.
Alex Watts : Has she given notice to her current landlord to move out please?
JACUSTOMER-2gnfdr90- :

Not sure but had repeatedly told her that they were going asap. No agreement in place

JACUSTOMER-2gnfdr90- :

Police have now arrived.

JACUSTOMER-2gnfdr90- :

Owner has been found to be committing benefit fraud but is still claiming some of grandbrat's things are her own and won't let them be removed.

Alex Watts : Ok. I don't quite understand. He is refusing to let her leave the property?
JACUSTOMER-2gnfdr90- :

Update. with police help, she has some of her property back after paying £100 as a compromise. Seems she has to prove the other items are her's. I'm 200 miles away and going on phone updates.

JACUSTOMER-2gnfdr90- :

How can she prove her ownership of things family have given her?

Alex Watts : But I don't understand - how is he not letting her leave please?
JACUSTOMER-2gnfdr90- :

She has now left, under Police control. She has been asked to provide evidence that some things like a valuable Welsh woolen blanket that I gave her, is indeed her's. She will arrange another visit to collect her stuff accompanied by a PCSO.

Alex Watts :

OK - what question would you like to ask me about this then so I can help?

JACUSTOMER-2gnfdr90- :

Perhaps things will be clearer in the morning

Alex Watts :

Ok- come back to me then if you have further questions
