My wife and I together with our daughter and her family bought

Customer Question

My wife and I together with our daughter and her family bought a detached house with a large detached garage. The garage had living accom, 2beds, bath, lounge, kitchen, laundry Both units were sold as one with one set of council tax and utility bills all as advertised in the brochure. It has transpired, after applying for planning permission for some alterations to the garage there was no planning in existence for the garage to be inhabited. Do I have any redress against any of the parties in this matter?
