Customer Question

I have recently built an extension under permitted development 2011 and installed a log burner and flue. I have complied with class A & class G however a neighbour has complained to my local council and subsequently ive had a visit from the planning officer who has advised the flue is potentially to close to boundary (1.5m away). Nowhere within the permitted development technical documents I can find any reference to distance from a boundary. Can I be told to remove my flue by planning?

Just to add - I live in an area that isnt a no smoke zone. The council have not removed any of the sections of the permitted development.
