Customer Question

My husband died in December 2015 and I need to prove ownership. It was insured with me as a named driver. I am trying to register it as a taxi.

Is the car registered in your late husband’s name?

Did he leave a will?

Any other property house et cetera?

Do you have the death certificate?

What proof is the licensing department asking for?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The car was registered in my husbands name but I have now registered in mine.
The will is an online one but it is signed by witnesses.
The house was in joint names.
I have a death certificate.
The licensing department want a bill of sale or proof that he wanted me to have the car.

Will they not accept the will?

What is the wording of all the bequests in the will?

Are you able to attach a copy?
