Thanks for the Question

How are you watching TV services please?satellite\cable\aerial?

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

I am watching my TV by aerial

Hi Rosemary

So where is the aerial lead going to please?is it going directly to the TV?or going to another product like a dvd player for example?

Hi Rosemary

Your question is stuck on the board I can only assume you have replied but I dont see anything ?let me know if you have

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

Hi Anthony

The Aerial is going to the TV

OK thanks for that info

Now what I need to know is this>>are you getting the set into tuning mode OK?

Can you see the set going through the motions of tuning?it will be searching for channels?

If so do you see any channels coming and going or does it finish searching without you seeing anything and reports nothing found?

Let me know please

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

Hi, yes I am getting the motions of tuning and then it says nothing found

Rosemary if thats the case theirs only 2 scenarios

1)The aerial or reception is bad

2)The set is faulty and will need to be returned.

Let me know if you have anything to add

Hi, should the DVD Recorder be on AV1, I am able to watch tapes ok

Hi Rosemary

The DVD is a completely different input than the aerial and if you have that on AV1 or scart thats where it should be and thats not a problem

The problem is the set is not picking up anything from the aerial so you either have a problem with the aerial (it may be outside on the roof)or the TV itself has a problem
