Freeview + Digital TV recorder seems to have died - Help! Subsequently, in addition to my original letter, I left the equipment unplugged overnight (as the plug seemed to be getting hot) - this

morning - nothing, no lights or anything to show that the machine is on

When you say it has "died", is there no response from it at all?
