My Panasonic DMR-HWT130EB Smart 500GB Recorder
doesn't record. I see the available space amount reduce as if it's recording, but there is no file/TV show stored.

We will need to do a reset of the recorder.
Can you go in the menu to Setup, Others, Initialize and choose Shipping conditions.
Then setup the recorder again and tell me if it now records.
