Is it possible to transfer recorded programmes to my Blue Ray Disc player?
As there are a couple I would like to put on a disc to show other people.
Hello, I’m Nathan, and I’ll be assisting you today. My livelihood depends on your positive feedback, so your satisfaction is my highest priority. Sorry to hear you’re having trouble. What is the make/model of your bluray? The short answer is that this is possible to output video to another source. However, you'd need a dvd/blurray Recorder, as well as special recordable discs. Just a player won't work. If you can tell me the make/mode of your player, I'll advise further on compatibility and options.

Sorry I had to leave the wait, as family suddenly arrived.

The Blu Ray is a Panasonic Blu-ray Disc TM Player.

Model numbers on the instruction booklet are:

Even though it shows all three on the cover, it follows by saying instructions are of DMP-BDT330

Hi Nathan,

I can't stay at the computer any longer, as there is dinner to cook.

I hope the info I have given you is useful.

Thank you for the update, and my apologies for missing you earlier. I'm in the US, west coast, on a much different time zone.Your panasonic unit is a bluray player only. It has no recording capabilities. Typically bluray recorders can be quite expensive, though they are available. Unless you specifically need the High Def bluray quality, a regular dvd recorder would probably be sufficient for you.You can view some of those options here: of these are probably more elaborate than you would really need though, as they often have their own tuner and hdd inside as well, which would be redundant if you have the humax. You may want to just pick up a used model of a basic recorder without all those features. Hook it to the humax with the red/white/yellow cords - start recording on the recorder and then start playback on the humax. Just keep in mind a few things: the recording is real time, so a 1 hour show will take 1 hour to record, there is no high speed dubbing. Also anything that happens on screen of the humax will show up on the recording, so if you pause, fast for*****, *****ng up the guide, etc, those are going to show in the recorded disc also. When purchasing discs, you'll want to get the "dvd-r" (not +r) discs for most uses.Best regards,Nathan

Hi Nathan,

Yes, big difference in time zone.

I already have a Denon DVD and CD player, in the Television cupboard with all the rest of the equipment, some very old, but still working!!!.

Will look and let you know the model number, and perhaps you can tell me if it will work with that.

Sorry, but its all very reliable equipment(even a cassette player!!), but all the time they work, why replace them. That's what old people think, and yes, I am old!!!

Will contact you later.

Thanks Pam

Sure thing, Pam. It is very unlikely that is a recorder though. That technology wasn't around back when cassettes were common, and I don't believe denon has ever made a dvd recorder, only players. Panasonic and Toshiba are the most common dvd recorder makers.

Hi Nathan,

Yes, when I checked last evening, it is only a CD player.

I will try to get a basic recorder, on e-bay perhaps. Then give it a try.

It will have to be fairly small as there isn't much room in the cupboard.

Thanks for your help, will give a positive feed back for you.

Line Dancing this evening, ye ha.

All the best
