I have a DMR-EX773EB DVD recorder and a Panasonic TX32AS600B

Customer Question

I have a DMR-EX773EB DVD recorder and a Panasonic TX32AS600B TV set. The recorder instructions say that NTSC DVDs (region 0) are converted to PAL 60HZ for output to TV. The TV manual says that it will play PAL 60HZ. When I try to do so I get a message "Incompatible TV setting". I can get it to play by switching TV to NTSC but this is inconvenient to say the least. Why will it not play PAL 60Hz

Has the DVR been setup with the output TV system being set as PAL?

Secondly are you playing back a commercial DVD or a DVD-R (one you created using NTSC)?
