Hi..there apologies for the delay in getting back to you had breakdown to attend too..

Normally these batteries have whats like a clamp/bolt around the base.where the battery sits on..that lip you around the base is usually what holds in if you havent done that so far checking around the bottom of the battery..then make a check there next..normally you will need a long extention/correct size socket for the bolt/ratchet to get it off - then it refit in reversal of removal..I do hope this helps
