Hello Temperature guage constantly reads from zero to half. im assuming its probably the sender? Where is the sender situated?
JA: How many miles are on the car? Have you checked the coolant level?
Customer: Yes coolant is fine, there are 245K miles.
JA: What is the model/year of your Renault?
Customer: 2004 Trafic. Panel van DCI 100 1.9ltr
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes, just been round checking loose wiring etc. but cant see the temp sender.
JA: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you?

Is that on the end of a housing coming from the turbo?

No its on the head coolant outlet. It is hidden by the manifold and quite tricky to access.
