i am a fiar the liferent is claiming housing benefit. he has forced me to say the benefit is going into my account. am i commiting fraud can i lose my house

As you will know a liferenter can't be charged rent therefore should be claiming housing benefit. You have to have this stopped as this is a fraud. You can say that you were forced into it as long as it hasn't been going on for too long.

You can't evict a liferenter however as they are entitled to occupy for life. You won't lose the house over this but you have to ensure that you disassociate yourself with any fraud immediately.
