This answer was rated:

Hello My Husband is a Teacher and also had power of attourne with another cousin for his Aunt During a time of unemployment my husband does supply work He borrowed some money from his Aunt with every intention as soon as he was working to pay it back! Of course it accumulated and he couldnt pay it all back he said when she asked why didnt he ask her he said he was to embarrassed which knowing my proud scots husband is really him! when he told her everything she was very sweet they are very close and he got a loan out to pay her back most of it and will pay the rest next month after next with his first wage packet But now the other power of attourne has asked my husband to sign a legal document saying he has done this and I just feel it could back fire his Aunt said I forgive you I know your not a criminal no more said about it your paying me back so thats the end of it! What should he do Im worried about this cause she could go to the Police at any time against his aunts wishes and cause him to loose his job and everything. Im worried sick and I didnt know any of this myself which makes it worse! but now i do I want to protect my husband I certainly dont agree with what he has done but I'm worried about him signing anything Please could you advise us Kindest regards XXXXX XXXXX
Thank you for your question.

If the aunt doesn't insist on his signing then the other attorney can't insist on him doing so.

Happy to discuss further.

I hope this helps. Please leave a positive response so that I am credited for my time.
