Customer Question

Is there any way around the 6 month rule in Scotland so as to sell the property faster. I have heard of a method of registering the property at a Sherrif Court etc. Any truth in this? Buyer wants a quick sale!

Thank you for your question. I am a solicitor in Scotland.

Are you referring to the situation where a lender won't lend if the seller hasn't owned the property for over six months or are you preferring to the situation where the property forms part of an executry estate?

-Could you explain your situation a little more?
