Thanks for tour question. The record should have numbered paragraphs for the Articles of Condescendence and Answers as well as the craves and corresponding pleas in law. The Ordinary Cause Rules specify what is required. You can get these at www.scotcourts.gov.uk

Yes, provided the original pleading in the Initial Writ and/or Defences we’re similarly numbered as the Record is simply a transcript of the original pleadings in the case. You can’t change the pleadings.
