Customer Question

Hi Im summoned to a case management discussion to a sheriff in Scotland. May I apply for it to be done by the phone or skype please?

Thanks for your question. I am a solicitor in Scotland. Telephone conferences in the sheriff court can be done between the sheriff and solicitor in commercial cases only. Skype is never used. So unless you are a solicitor running a commercial case, the case will call in open court. I hope that helps. Please leave a positive rating so that I am credited by JustAnswer for my time.
