I hv a panasonic inverter microwave cooker. Yesterday when I went to cook the microwave side cameos and then died. Is the machine finished
JA: Do you know the model of your Panasonic microwave? How old is it?
Customer: NN-CT55JW APPROX 4 YRS OLD
JA: How long has this been going on with your Panasonic microwave? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Just started. Oven seems to work not tried combination ? Microwave ?
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?

Is it completely dead and have you checked the plug fuse ?

If you have already checked the plug fuse and it is still completely dead then, I am afraid, the control board is faulty and will need replacement.

However, if control lights up and it will not work on Microwave setting then I am afraid, this indicates an issue with the Magnetron that is faulty and will need replacement.

When you turn on the Microwave it starts and then after few seconds magnetron kicks in however, if control detects magnetron has not started to heat it will turn itself off or even trip the circuit.

When magnetron is faulty the Invert board is replaced as well, sorry about the bad news.

Alternatively, you may call Panasonic at 0344(###) ###-####/b> to book repair.
