Customer Question

I have a PC with Windows Home Premium 7 with 64 bit working.

I recently recorded a short MIDI file with extension .mid of length 1.41KB as information from 128 notes ON & OFF played in promptly on a single channel.

I want to view the contents & obtain some simple software to enable this.

Later, I expect the need to do elementary editing.

No AUDIO would be involved in such .mid files.

So I am bypassing Sonar, Reaper, Cubase etc. at this stage.

I would recommend using Anvil Studio. It's a good free editor that works with both midi files and audio (if you ever change your mind about editing audio as well).
