What's the model of your windows 8 laptop?
Windows 10 will be better than Windows 8, but since Windows 10 is new, and if you like using Windows 8 or you don't have any issue using windows 8, then I suggest to stay with Windows 8 for now. Usually, when a new Windows version comes out, there will be some bugs in the beginning. You have one year for free Windows 10 upgrade.
