I need some reliable voice-recognition software to use with an iPad, for an elderly relative who wants to dictate her emails.
Is it important to have a specific o/s on the iPad?
And suggestions for an App would be useful, unless the inbuilt software is sufficient.

Does the Dragon app allow the user to dictate directly into an email? This particular elderly lady won't be capable of cut and paste or having to use a similar technique.

I tried Dragon on an old iPad, and it worked fine, and I could email without a problem.
