I lost my outlook because of a virus which has now been eliminated but although outlook has been restored I have not recovered my saved files containing emails

Can you first tell me please which version of outlook you are using? And the version of windows?

I can see you are a first time user to the site. What we do here is either a question and answer type of conversation or remote support where I would actually connect to the computer and have a look and attempt to fix the problem for you.

Did you ask them to restore the backup? As this is what we need from them as they are not on the computer

Not good news!!! Zen say there is NO backup and they cannot retrieve my saved email files, address book, or anything other than the original details when the set up took place in 2009. The outlook is 2007 and Windows 10.

That's disappointing of them Nigel...

They never made a backup on your computer, I checked for this yesterday, and with no backup on the server, then the data is lost sorry. You're not going to be able to restore it.
