Just like to mention that was a 630mm diameter round hole, if it makes any difference
Expert:  StructuralEng replied 1 year ago.

It would depend on a number of factors.

What is the total length of wall?

What is the height of wall total and what is the height above the opening?

What is the load on the wall?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The wall itself is a gable end of a lean-to brick shed type building. With a sloping roof. The roof is just galvanised sheet. The wall is a double thickness of concrete blocks.
Highest point is 4.7m, lowest point is 3.2m.
Total length of wall 3.9m hole position is half way along.
Total height of wall at point of hole is 4m
Height above opening 2.5m
