I'm a LTD Company self-managing my accounts via FreeAgent.
When it comes to Bank Account reconciliation, do I keep need a screenshot or receipt to explain every single bank transaction?
Or does it just matter that the bank account matches up with the books?
Thanks for your question

Yes you do, as it needs to be a complete paper trail, with the invoices of what you earn, and then invoices/receipts for what you have spent out,. which then ties in with the bank account and the accounts.
Plus bank paying in books, cheque book stubs (or evidence of bank transfers, bank statements and credit card statements)
