Re- Short Tax Return 2014/15. Should bank dividends used to buy more bank shares under their reinvestment programme be entered in Box 5.1 or 5.3 presumably excluding the tax credits. Should quarterly OEIC dividend credits to my bank account be enterd in Box 5.1 excluding the tax credit

Hello and welcome to the site. Thank you for your question.

You should enter dividends received from your bank in box 5.3 including OEIC dividend credits (do not include the tax credits).

Box 5.1 is for taxed UK interest.
