Customer Question

I work full time earning £28000 as a production planner.
I would like to take on an evening / weekend job in a local hospital earning approx £4000. Is it going to be worth my while or will I pay so much more tax?

Hi. You will pay tax at 20% on £4,000 per annum so your liability would be £800 per annum. The earnings are too low to be laible to national insurance contributions. I hope this helps but let me know if you have any further questions.
