I have a posting receipt which was deleted dated 15 march to post to xero but at present my reconci
Assistant: Have you talked to a tax professional about this?
Customer: No but on my vat reconciliation report says 4990 and vat return say 9887 and I need yo post this receipt because bank is out by £20k. How can I deal with this.

What adjustments do I need to do. I have just starting working on Xero. Please not that vat liability has same figures as vat liability report. I have to submit this today. Please not that I have to also post a sales invoice for this receipt.

Hi I am one of experts. Please explain it clearly. You have a sales invoice of net + vat = gross value posted on 15 March and you want to put this figure in your current VAT return. Tell me date of this VAT return, is this from March to end of Sept 2019?

May be your issue is dates related and simply your are not selecting right dates on xero.

Receipt dated 15 mar 2019. Vat retur July to Sept- Vat Audit Report figures 4589. Vat Return 9887. I have removed this receipt because while posting it increased both figures.
