I currently have two jobs.
First job income is £31000 per annum
Second job income is £600p per annum
Can I get 1250L tax code (12500 personal tax allowance on both jobs is this possible?)

Hi, I am one of the experts. How much for second job, £60000?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
For the second job I get roughly £6000 per annum

Yes 1250L makes sense in such situation if there is no tax outstanding from last year.

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
So I can get 1250L on both jobs?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Currently I have 1250L on my main job (31k annually) and BR on my second job (6k annually)
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Why have HMRC put BR on my second job?

Oh, you mean second job at the same time with first job. In this situation on the second job you will be on the BR code which is Basic Rate of 20%.

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Yes I have both jobs

Sorry in that case BR is fine for the second job.

Have I answered your question?

If you want to know reason behind BR then actually your first job will consume all of the personal allowance so on the second job there is no personal allowance remaining to be deducted so this is why they put you on BR code.

Hope now i have answered your question?
