Re my previous question, what if my PILON was paid on 31/3/20? Can that be classed as income relating to the 2020/21 tax year, given that the 3 months notice it relates to is April/May/June 2020?

No, to the 19/20 tax year.

Well yes, but you could always make a case that it was not due until after the end of the tax year.
