I am trying to do my tax return but when I log in to

Hi, I am trying to do my tax return but when I log in to and press on self assessment a message pops up as "you used a different account last your to fill your tax return"
JA: Which tax year are you filing for?
Customer: 19/20

- you have more than one Government gateway user ID

- yor tax return was filed by your tax agent

You need to register for online service for self assessment in your own name to enable you to file your tax return online.

I presume you have a Government Gateway user ID and password,

You should sign in with that and then register for online service.

Should I go to manage my account and press on "Get online access to a tax, duty or scheme"?
Customer: replied 10 days ago.
Because when I do this, it goes back to the same situationMessage saying:
" You already manage your taxes, duties and schemes online. You must have added them to another account. You need to sign in to that account."Then it ask me again if I know the ID and password

with 3 options to chose:
1. Yes - sign in with user id - which I do not know
2. No - retrieve my sign in details
3. No - get help from HMRC

Try option 2 first and failing that go for option 3.
