I bought a Toyota Aygo with 4,000 miles on clock (demo car)

This answer was rated:

I bought a Toyota Aygo with 4,000 miles on clock (demo car) in 2012 . It now has9,000 miles on clock. When purchased I was assured it was covered by Toyota's 5 yr. Warranty. When driving today the clutch broke! Is this covered by the warranty?

as the clutch is a major component then yes its covered by the 5 year warrenty

I'd get in touch with the dealership but there should be no quibbles about this one

Because my car was a demo, I am therefore the second owner.

The dealership is not prepared to admit it is covered by warranty, they say only new cars have 5 yr warranty. What do I do now?

Hello Carol

I know from my own expierence with my Toyota and the 5 year warrenty as that too was a dealer demo car so bought used but have since successfully claimed on the warrenty

So I've either try with another dealership or get in touch with the Toyota customer service department
