Customer Question

I have a 2002 corolla 1.8 VVTi tSpirit, which has just had a clutch replaced ...within a few miles the clutch pedal either stays down or only returns part way ...The master cylinder has been replaced and the slave shows no sign of any seepage .... but the garage that I used and myself (I am a time served engineer, retired ) cannot come up with a reason for this fault .... any thoughts would be grarefully explored. Also the clutch supplier has been asked if they had any helpfull comments and other than stripping down and redoing the job ...which is what is going to happen they don't have any thoughts
