Customer Question

A traffic warden issued me with a parking fine because he said, I might reuse the permit at a later time by altering the date. I am a retired person of 77 who lives and abides by the law and still believes in the system of dating whereby the first day of the month is displayed as 1 or the 1st, likewise the following months or years. I was attending a friends home while he was abroad and was given a parking permit to display on my cars dashboard. I later noticed a parking warden placing a summons on my car wind screen and when I asked why, he said, because I might use the permit at a later date by adding more numbers. I have appealed against this conviction and would like to further this misuse of power by legal action. I live with my wife on our state pensions and a fine of £70 is a huge amount to pay for a crime I have not committed.
