Assistant: Has anything been filed or reported?
Customer: no
Assistant: Anything else you want the solicitor to know before I connect you?
Customer: No just advice..I have a 3 yearly licence for medical reasons

Hello my name is ***** ***** I will help you with this.

What is it you would like to know about this today please?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I have just discovered that my licence expired nearly 3 years ago. My licence is a 3 yearly licence as I am a diabetic. I will be 65 in feb 2018. I would like advice as what to do
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I cannot call at the moment

Have you tried to renew?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.

Do you need a new medical assessment? Is it due?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Almost certainly but that should not be a problem.

Ok, so what is your question of me? Note, it may be the morning when I reply

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
quite simply I am seeking advice on the best course of action. Should I just apply for a renewal ? as though nothing had happened. Naturally I am concerned about possible consequences and I wonder what they might be? Happy for a reply in the morning

Yes apply and see what happens. If you dont renew then you cant drive.

Its an offence to drive a vehicle without a licence, because you do not know whether you are entitled to one.

So renew, otherwise you have to stop driving now.

Can I clarify anything for you about this today please?

If not I would appreciate a 5 star rating for my answer. Thanks!
