Customer Question

I parked in a private car park but not in a parking bay with no disabled parking facilities for my son to use the disabled toilet and got a pcn as recorded cctv which went from £30 to £50 to £110 which I paid. Is this right
JA: Because laws vary from place to place, can you tell me where this is?
Customer: Shoalstone car park Brixham Devon
JA: Do you need to appear in court?
Customer: No as I said I paid the charge £110 but are they acting legally under the discrimination act 2010
JA: Anything else you want the Lawyer to know before I connect you?

As I was made aware after the event by the parking company but I was at the time only concerned with getting my son to the toilet as he needed to go
Customer: replied 12 days ago.
after he had been to the toilet we left the car park

Yes, but were you required to have a ticket? How long did you stay?

Customer: replied 12 days ago.
I was not aware that I needed a ticket because upon not finding a parking space I parked beside the toilet. It took approx 20 minutes to get my son (wheelchair) from the car to the toilet and back into the car

Did the terms of the car park say you needed a ticket?
