I have a Samsung ps42b430p2w tv. It is clicking I have changed the power supply board but this has not cured the problem .The original power board showed none of the usual capacitor damage . Could you please tell me whet else could cause the tv not to operate.
Hello, my name isXXXXX be happy to assist you.
Please allow me to ask you a few questions to diagnose the problem.

- Clicking has started suddenly or TV has some other issue previously like delayed power up etc?

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

tv did on occasion start up by its self and then would click off

Thanks Billy for the info.

- Do you have voltmeter and can check output volts of power supply?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

I don't im not at home but this replacement supply is warranted and tested as working

OK, please unplug connectors from power supply that go to left and right side circuit boards (sustain boards) and check.
Does TV stay On or still gives clicking sound?

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

I have remove three plugs two left circuits and one right and now there is no click

OK, does power light on TV stay solid?

Also, please unplug power cord from wall socket, plug one connector at a time, replug power cord back in and check. what connector plug in gives clicking sound?

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

when the left hand board is disconnected the clicking stops and the tv made the start up sound

OK, and when left circuit board connected, TV start giving clicking sound?

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

Thanks Billy for trouble shooting process.

It seems Y Main (left side) board is shorted out and causing the problem, power supply board replay is clicking due to that short volts to protect further damage, please get the part number written on left side board to search/ google it for price and stock info to get replacement identical one and swap it in TV.

I trust my input will help you out. Please feel free to respond if you have any additional questions.
A positive rating to answer would be greatly appreciated!
