My TXP46GT30B is not working just flashing the power light

My TXP46GT30B is not working just flashing the power light red for a few seconds then nothing then repeating. If cut power and turn back on power light flashes green for a few seconds then flashes red for a few seconds then stops for a few seconds then starts flashing red again.

Nothing in handbook helps, any ideas please.

Customer: It is about 18 months old. When switch on it flashes green as if it going to switch on as normal then flashes red 7 times then stops for a few seconds and repeats.

OK, this is a common issue with these units

7 blinks means the problem is with the SU or SD board

Customer: Thanks what is the solution ?

if you are looking to repair this yourself then you will have to take the back off the unit and check the board that is bad

Customer: Ok, if not should I kick Panasonic as it is under warranty I think

well if it is under warranty then it will be better to contact Panasonic
