Have you tried rebooting by unplugging from wallpower waiting 5 mins then replugging back in again please?if not please do that now and let me know

Hitachi 40 Inch Full HD 1080p HD Smart LED TV And tried unplugging and still nothing , no buttons work on the remote and stuck on channel itv4

OK you are sure this happened right after a firmware upgrade?the set was otherwise working OK before then?

How are you viewing TV services please?satellite\cable box\aerial?

No mate, that doesn't work either , nothing works, stuck on itv4 won't do anything mate

It looks like the software has got corrupted or you have loaded the wrong software for the set, Jason you will need to call in the warrenty for the set they will simply replace the mainboard ,if you ever do the software again please follow the guide carefully because you can flatline the set...
