Thanks for the Question

Can you see any visible light at all on the screen ?not even a dim glow?

If you press the menu button of the sets own remote control does the menu come up please?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I see change of glow when switching between sources. No image pops up no matter what buttons I press. I tried menu button first place clearly - same effect = no affect
If your seeing a change of glow on the display that means the backlight is lit (you can verify that in a darkened room)if thats the case then the tcon board that drives the LCD panel is bad do you think you can replace this board yourself?I will provide all the necessary details to do that I just need to know if you can use small tools and are comfortable doing that?
Let me know please

I think that I will manage, the question however if it is wotrth it. What is the price of these spare parts and delivery (i live in Amsterdam)?
I understand and to that question I dont know you would need to get the tcon board out its mounted upper middle of the set has the lvds lead a multistrand lead going to it and retrieve the part number from it you then would need to google the partnumber for suppliers near you usually to keep the price down the boards are used ones from scrap sets gauranteed to be working estimated cost is about $80 or £80 I am not sure how that equates to the dutch currency
