We have a new lg smart tv. When we connect our mx android box

This answer was rated:

We have a new lg smart tv. When we connect our mx android box to the tv it is blinking every few seconds. The android box works fine on our sony bravia. We have checked the hdmi cable and it works ok .
Hello and sorry you're having problems.
The HDMI cable working fine on another TV with the Android is not a conclusive test. HDMI is a digital medium, and not all TV's have the same sensitivity to a cable. So a cable that works on another TV may not work on this TV- and vise versa.
So please reply back with the following:
1) What is the model number off of the back of this TV?
2) How long have you owned it for and when did the problem occur?
3) What other devices (if any) have been connected to this TV via HDMI, that ARE working?
4) Have you tried a DIFFERENT HDMI cable on this TV with the Android box with the same results?

LG 47lb730V-ZD

We have had the TV for one week problem since set up

We have SKY and Cyclone conneted via HDMI and no problem works well

We have tried another HDMI cable with the same results

Thanks for the reply. Please pull the HDMI cable out of the Sky box and plug it right into the back of the Android box. Set the LG to the correct Input and let me know if the flickering still occurs.

Yes the problem still occurs

Unfortunately there aren't any settings you can adjust, or anything else. The Android box simply is not compatible with the LG TV. This can be caused by a different version of HDMI being used. Now, You have noproblem with the other devices connected via HDMI to the LG correct? Additionally the Android box worksfine on a Sony TV, so it would appear the LG simply does not communicate with the Android box. You danDan try another Android box, but it is likely you will have the same problem ImI'm afraid.
