Customer Question

I am in the military and bought a UE32EH5000W in Italy. I have been posted back to the UK and when I I auto tune, the channel numbers start at 850 and are in a 'random' order. I did try changing the country to UK - but was given the option for analogue country only. I've updated all settings available to me, but the TV seems to vant to stay Italian at heart! Can you help please? Thank you.

Hello there,

I've been working hard to find a Professional to assist you with your question, but sometimes finding the right Professional can take a little longer than expected.

I wonder whether you're ok with continuing to wait for an answer. If you are, please let me know and I will continue my search. If not, feel free to let me know and I will cancel this question for you.

Please note, I am just a moderator for this category, I can only try and find experts to help, I can't answer the question itself.

Thank you!

Hi there,
Try disconnecting the aerial, then retune the TV.
It should not pick up any channels, and this action will wipe any channels stored in its memory.
Then connect the aerial and retune the TV again -
this should pick up all available channels in the correct order.
Let me know if that helps..

Thanks Pete.
Please forgive delay in replying; I had to be away yesterday.
I followed your instructions and unfortunately it hasn't made any difference.
Is it significant that there is no option to set 'digital' country (only 'analogue') in the tuning sub menu.
Also - and don't tell anyone - but I took a peek at the Service menu. It depicts 'locate' as Italy. I can't change this as its 'greyed' out - unless you know the code go unlock it...
Any help you can give would be welcome.
Thanks and best regards,
