My Panasonic TX-P42G15 42 Plasma TV -TX42G15B says no signal

This answer was rated:

My Panasonic TX-P42G15 42 Plasma TV -TX42G15B says no signal found please press OK to reset. The screen heading then says FREESET AUTO SETUP. Underneath the line is the usual power strength etc with the first 2 lines indicating 10. The screen then freezes and I can only exit toa blank screen. Is there an easy solution please?
Hello and sorry you're having problems. Offhand this appears to be a failure with the Mainboard- which is the component that processes the Input Signals on the set. However it would be worth trying a hard reboot of the TV first. To do this, disconnect the set from power, then remove all AV and aerial cabling from the back of the TV (make sure to observe where all of the cables were previously plugged into). Then press and hold the power button on the TV itself (not the remote) for 15 seconds and release. Wait a full minute then plug the AV cables back into the set. Then power it on once and let me know if you have the same problem.

If not, could you please click the 5 STAR RATING, at the top of the page for my efforts? It is my livelihood and you can follow up at any time if needed.
How about replying back instead of hitting me with bad service? I know what's wrong with your TV I was giving you one shot at a quick fix. I can hardly help if your TV needs service. Let me know what type of answer you are looking for here.
Thank you. Rating poor or bad does not change the issue with your TV, it simply says you're blaming me for it, I have opted out and am no longer involved since I don't feel comfortable continuing with this.

I am sorry if m have offended you, it was not intended. I am almost 80 years old and live alone in sheltered accommodation and am poor on a computer. I tried my best to get in touch and could not, so I turned my computer off and have just come back on line as I could not have taken any more instructions. I was delighted with the speed of your reply and may have had another attempt when my son comes next. Hope you can inderstand my problem. Annette
