Could you please give me the model number written on the tv`s back cover ?

Sorry , have to step out for 5 minutes

Customer: replied 9 months ago.

Thank you

What is the tv doing now if anything ?
Is there a light or blinking light at the front and/or clicking sound from inside when you plug the power cord again and try to turn it on ?
Or completely dead no activity whatsoever ?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
nothing at all

OK then the first suspect here would be the power supply

I see that you are in Australia , if I can find that board ,are you going to work on this yourself or would just like to have an idea of the parts and costs involved ?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
parts and cost please

I`ll see what I can find

No parts to be found but then this is usual when it comes to Australian tv`s

Only thing I can tell you is that around here this would cost some $300 parts included

Some $80 for the board and the rest for service call and labor

Perhaps $50 less if you take it to a shop yourself

If you can remove the back cover and read the number on the power supply board where the power cord goes in , I would have a better chance of finding it if you had in mind to work on this yourself , otherwise you have your repair estimate above

Let me know if you have questions and if not for now then PLEASE DO TAKE THE TIME TO RATE (stars above and submit), it does not cost you anything more and does not close this post if you need more help while it gets me paid for my time helping you .

to replace the parts will there be any soldering involved, i have replaced a power board on an AC unit before

Probably simpler than replacing the AC power board

This is Plug&Play ,no solder or adjustments

Jack what board will I need to replace?
Customer: replied 9 months ago.
Jack i have the back off the tv, do i replace the board where the AC goes in or on of the others

That's the on where the power comes in if the tv is totally dead

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
the tv is totally dead so do i replace the board where the power goes in

That would be the very first suspect yes

Looked for it low and high with the model number and never found anything

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
model no TH-55CS610A

you said TH-65...... at first ??

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
sorry now off the wall can read

No problem , don`t seem to have better luck so far with that number anyway

On that board can you see a number that would start with TNPA....... ?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.

Let me check that

That's your board there
