Hello could you please tell me why I can’t set record on my television guide if my Samsung t.v. This hasn’t always been the case.
JA: What Samsung model do you have? How old is it?
Customer: Model LT228300EW
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: Yes menu works and no I don’t
JA: How long has this been an issue with your LT228300EW? What happened right before this?
Customer: I have only noticed this problem today
JA: Anything else you want the TV Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I have noticed that it hadn’t been recording for a week or so.

Can you please remove the power to the TV (so unplug it from the power socket).

Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power again to the TV, turn it on and tell me please if it is now operating correctly.

Please do the following

  1. Make sure your box is connected to the internet.
  2. Open the Main Menu.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. From Information & reset select Factory reset.
  5. Select Reset.
  6. Enter the numbers you see on screen to confirm you want to reset your box.
  7. Your box will now reset itself and we'll walk you through the setup again.

Then try to record.
