Hello and sorry to hear you’re having trouble.

What do you mean by standby?

Hello, it appears your question is still open.
I haven't heard back with the info needed to get into specifics,
but if you still need help I can give you some general info to get you started.

If you are referring to having to turn the satellite box on each time you use it,

you can just leave it on all the time, so long as you never power it off (with the satellite remote) it should stay on.

If you are referring to having to choose the source/input mode on the tv, that is a different situation that you cannot get around however, which is just the nature of how the tv is designed.

Thank you,

Nathan
